Gentle Mindful Yoga
Somatic Flow Yoga with Mindful Manchester
This invigorating and calming yoga class will bring a nourishing pause and an energising flow to your lunchtime.
Mindfulness, somatics and breath work are woven into a dynamic practice. The gentle flow is designed to cultivate strength, flexibility and ease, to take you into the afternoon more grounded and with a spring in your step.
The term Somatic means ‘embodied’ or ‘of the body’. Bringing somatics into our yoga practice is about body-mind integration and is a way of re-patterning the way our brain senses and moves the muscles.
All bodies and abilities are welcome, whether you are brand new to yoga, a regular that wants to try a class with a different emphasis or you’re returning to yoga after a gap.
The class is taught by Bridget, yoga teacher and Breathworks-accredited mindfulness teacher and qualified Hanna Somatics exercise coach.

And Jiva with Andrea Everingham
'Yoga, for me, is a way we can express our fusion of energy; wildness, compassion and self-introspection. Coupled with the fun we naturally have, balance with movements of the body, spiritual deepening and enlightenment in an otherwise chaotic world. It’s about connecting with the wildness in you and letting that part live freely in your soul, uncaged. Yoga teaches us so much more than we think - the more we practice the more is revealed. Allowing ourselves to be conscious and mindful in everything we say, do and be the harmony felt on your mat, aligned with a complete sense of oneness."
Andrea's Thursday Ashtanga Yoga session is the full primary series done in 90 minutes. A challenging consistent sequence with occasional variations into the 2nd series for advanced practice.

Donna Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic sequence of postures, each one designed to gently open the body for the next one. It builds strength and flexibility in the body.
Because we concentrate on the breath, it also becomes a moving meditation.
Because we practice the same postures, they become familiar for the body to do so you can switch off your mind and just concentrate on the breath.
In this class each movement is connected by the breath and counted in Sanskrit, to help you to focus inwards.
Donna has practiced Ashtanga for 25 years, studying with some of the best teachers in the world. She has been teaching for 11 years and was authorised to teach primary and second series by Manju Jois.

Hot Vinyasa Flow with George
I have been practising hot yoga for over 10 years. It helps to restore my mind and body connection and to calm my nervous system, both on and off the mat.
I offer a slow but strong, grounding Vinyasa flow practice. Vinyasa means that the poses are linked together in a flowing sequence as opposed to some other types of yoga which may follow a more fixed or repetitive form. The elevated temperature of the room provides a little bit more of a challenging practice. Physically it can help us to go deeper into the poses whilst mentally pushing us to the edge of our comfort zone as we call upon the breath to guide us through. The sequence is set to music and features a mixture of standing and floor based postures, some breathwork and a relaxing Savasana to finish. A Friday flow to take you into the weekend feeling calm and balanced!

Yoga with Ola
Thigh muscles, back pain, hunched back, stress, anxiety, insomnia... who doesn't suffer from one or the other these days? Ola will teach you to slow down and tune in to your body. She became a yoga teacher after realizing that mindful movement, conscious breathing, increased mobility, and meditation are key to our overall well-being.
As a fitness trainer and PT since 2018, with wide nutrition knowledge, she now knows that the union of the body and mind - taught through yoga - for many of us is a missing element to feel better and look better (including fat loss!)
This class is designed to make you feel relaxed: helping to release the stress and soften the stiff muscles. Grounding, breathing exercises, light, and easy flow sequences will gently prepare muscles for deeper, static stretches, soft twists, and hip tension releases.
